A friend of mine has published a book on Proverbs! My whole family has used his study guide and we learned a lot about ourselves, foolishness, wisdom and God's mercy and grace. I can't wait to read the book!

Yes, I'm still building a web-based business. I'm developing a Facebook game. I have a prototype and design and I'm looking for investors-small and large-to share in the business. This is an unprecedented time of opportunity for small web-based businesses. Please contact me if you're interested in participating.

Jor's March Book Club pick: Churchill!
It's my pick for book club in March, and I'd like to pick an audio selection. I think hearing Churchill deliver his speeches will be much better than reading them. He has been called the "greatest orator of our time".

PS If you buy through this link I might make a few cents. I'm mostly doing this for the experience. Thanks for participating in my experiment.

Welcome to MyBlogSandbox.
I'm committed to building a web-based business. I've got several ideas for content, but content without a business plan is a hobby. I'll be blogging my journey, until my sponsors cancel this due to low advertisement revenues. Then I'll try something else.

I signed up for AdSense today. I read through the legal agreement. No, really, I read every word. I've read contracts in my day job, and I liked AdSense's. The restrictions made sense, and they didn't go into overly jargon-y language. The complete absense of any kind of description of the revenue potential from AdSense was a little disconcerting. But it doesn't cost much to try it out. Just a little opportunity cost to using another service while you determine how much money you can generate using AdSense. According to the Agreement, I can't tell you anything about the fees I collect except the raw total amount. I'm not sure what I'll report. I do want to stay within my previous commitment.

I've had this sandbox up for months with nothing but a "first post" entry. I had 2 comments from other bloggers saying, "This is a great blog, I think you'd like mine!" with links to their blogs. Obviously they are using some kind of crawler. Yeah, I clicked through to one of them. What was surprising was that he didn't have any ads on his blog. I didn't understand why he would use some auto-commenter on my blog to drive clicks to his blog without some ulterior motive. Was he lonely? Another mystery of the blogosphere. If anyone knows why, please leave a comment.
